Brett Meads and Clint Parker have over 45 years of collective experience in automotive air conditioning and climate control systems. Their expertise is highly regarded by the broader industry, with Gympie Auto Air being recognised as one of the top diagnostic facilities in Australia.
Brett sits on the board of our industry association (VASA), and currently holds the position of Vice-President. He is involved in both the organisation and delivery of industry training, writes technical columns for various national and international publications, and was instrumental in bringing the SightGlass suite of resources to industry workshops. Brett’s consultancy work has seen him assist the Federal Department of the Environment and Energy, Australian Refrigeration Council, Refrigerant Reclaim Australia, GHD Consulting, Queensland Government, CoolDrive, Supercool, RACQ and Tafe.
Clint heads VASA’s technical committee and is involved in research and testing at the Supertest facility at Ormeau Queensland. Clint is a major contributor and content editor for the SightGlass Tech bulletins, is a moderator of the industry technical information exchange site SightGlass Live, and has delivered targeted training at the Wire and Gas conventions. Clint has driven the early adoption of nitrogen and hydrogen mixtures as a pressure testing tool, and has worked with Brett at draft level updating the industry Code of Practice. In 2015 Clint received an Industry Excellence award from his peers in recognition of his efforts.
